giving permissions within a plesk (windows) hosting for a php script called stivashopingcart to be installed

the installation of this script requires me to give the appropriate permissions within the hosting account. i have given i think doubt i have done it correctly, while hosting provider says their system works fine and in the other hand the script creator says their script works fine. do you know to give the appropriate permissions within plesk so that installation of the script can proceed? thanks!
