Execute a Batch file from php script.

Hello Everyone,

Looking for assistance as quick as possible.

I have been struggling to create a PHP script (run from the browser) that would execute a batch file on the server (Windows Server). The batch file runs an executable file. The executable file is a Language compiler and requires two parameters to be passed to it: parameter 1 is the source code and parameter 2 is the compiled file.

Here is the batch file:

@echo off

C:\Inetpub\vhosts\[login to view URL]\httpdocs\compiler\[login to view URL] C:\Inetpub\vhosts\[login to view URL]\httpdocs\compiler\[login to view URL] C:\Inetpub\vhosts\[login to view URL]\httpdocs\compiler\[login to view URL]

I am probably doing something really silly but really don't have much time to waste. I would hope that the bidder would produce a very basic script just to execute the above command from php ran from a browser.

I have tried...

shell_exec, exec, system commands but had no joy... Permissions I don't think are an issue because I can run php scripts to create folders & files etc.

I am really looking for a solution asap. Any longer than 3 hours, I can't wait.
