Create a Joomla Template

I would like a more bespoke portfolio and filtering solution for my website: [login to view URL]

I create free music, and need a responsive list of songs which are filterable by 'Feel', 'Style', 'BPM', and 'Length'.

I suppose I need a component rather than a template, but that was the closest option. I thought that we could use the existing tag system on Joomla, as this allows nested tags. eg. 'Orchestral' would be under the 'Style' tag, and so we could have a dropdown with all of the tags under 'Style' which people can tick.

About the filters:

Feel and Style: These need to be dropdown menus where multiple selections can be made, and employ "and" logic, both within themselves, and across the other filters.

BPM and Length: These could be dropdowns with ranges (see my website as it is currently), or even sliders to encompass custom ranges. for dropdowns the logic must be "or", but of course still maintain the "and" logic with the other filters. The reason being, music may have multiple styles and feels, but can only have one length, haha...

About the results:

I have a lot of music, and write two new songs per week, so the output MUST be paginated so the load speed doesn't slow down too much (so the filters have to play nicely with pagination).

The output should be a grid which displays the article's intro image (similar to what I have now). This image is the link to the article page. All articles are in the "Free Music" category so that component must only show those. Beneath the image, I need a simple HTML5 music player so that people can preview the song before clicking on the link to the article where they can download it/read more about it. The player should be small and unobtrusive - and probably labeled with "preview".

About the layout:

Same as what I have now: filters in a row on the top, items below in a responsive grid. and then probably pagination navigation below the grid.

There is quite a lot of free filtering and grid layout resources out there, so you don't need to reinvent the wheel. thinks like Isotope filter, JPList, etc etc.

I have some example websites I can show you.

I know this is a big ask, and my budget is pretty small, as I give away my music for free. But hopefully, some nice person will realise this, and help me out! I'm more than happy for you to put the component up for sale on the JED to make more money from it.
