OsCommerce product option grid

We have a eCommerce site/ OsCommerce 2.2 that shows a product (vinyl letter) and then you choose the option (letters) and then quantity. I would like to have the display changed so when you are on that page the options are displayed in a grid format with quantity box next to them. Then when clicked "add to cart" the cart is updated with multiple items.
