Streaming Audio Player/Recorder

I would like a custom Windows application similar to RipCast that would work with Sirius and XM Sattelite online streams instead. RipCast allows you to download and listen to MP3's at the same time. SHOUTcast is the streaming audio technology that RipCast is based upon. Part of the problem with the online interface of these services is they don't display the name and artist of the song playing in the player, even though that information is availible. I would like to create a Windows based XM/Sirus reciever which will remedy this, allow you to listen to and record the audio without any additional hardware in the same manner as RipCast. Since both services are subscription based, and require a user account to log in, this would have to be figured into the program, allowing users to save their username and password into the program and store it for quick and easy connection to the servers.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Windows 2000 or better. Would prefer application to be written in VB 6 or .NET
