Simple form, no styling needed just interested in functionality. Please use MySQLi and PHP.

Files I expect sent to me are

DATABASE - MySQL

table = user

fields/columns = username, email, password

PK = username

FORM DETAILS

REGISTER

username *

email *

password *

LOGIN

username

password

The register form needs to create the user and save their details into a MySQL database. I prefer if you use MySQLi code within your PHP as I am used to that improved version with prepared statements etc when inserted values into the database.

The password needs to be encrypted and stored in the database.

The login form needs to validate and check the users details in the database.

The register form needs to check if the username exists and display the appropriate message. "Username already exists"

I am very concerned with the security of the form and it must be secured and it must validate all user inputs.

Once this is complete I have the following tasks to do also which we can discuss later and price separately.

- user to user message system

- chat room

- account balance - deposit via paypal

Hi, I can do this with quality code, properly hashing the password so it will be pretty hard to reverse the hash. However, why not use PDO instead mysqli? I can use both, but PDO is a more modern API. Regards, Se Altro
