We use the Sellerdeck (UK Based) e-commerce software to design our e-commerce store. I would like to incorporate the quote into our main page.
Please could you give me a bit of the background as to how you would develop the app and incorporate it into our existing website and what the requirements of our ISP are, eg, MySql etc.

The quote system basically:-
Has a
To: field with a dropdown of all the towns in South Africa (Supplied by us)
From: field with a dropdown of all the towns in South Africa (Supplied by us)
Item: Type of packaging, Weight, Length/Breadth/Height, Quantity
Insurance required: Yes/No
The Option to add another item.
1) The system must then use the information obtained by the selected route to determine types of carriage (based in a category, eg A, B, C) – there are three carriage options – result will be a value (Not all carriage options are possible, eg:- cannot Earlybird delivery to Hoedspruit from Durban)
2) The system must then calculates the greater of the item weight / or volumetric weight (LXBXH/5000) and take that greater value and multiply it by the quantity and then by a defined factor (we will supply the factors) based on the towns selected. Adding all items together.
3) Optionally add Insurance as a percentage of the value of the goods declared.
4) Accept terms
5) Then develops a printable and e-mailable quote with the following information:-
Displays the details of the quote
Displays the available options of carriage with prices – with a clickable acceptance option
Acceptance of terms
Acceptance of quote, which mails the acceptance to us and to the client.
Ultimately I would like to incorporate it into our existing payment system – but is not a part of the current project.
This is the basic requirement.
Please could you also give an estimate to design and implement. Time and price please.
