We have an existing system which changes the output file from our website (Runs on Creloaded/OsCommerce) to the format required to import into another system.
We now need to improve this export, either updating the existing process or with a new process. The new output will deal with more records but will have roughly the same process.
To build the new output file the process can either use the "custom export" module from MagneticOne onto our Creloaded web store:

or alternatively modify the Google Base export file which is already in use:

The next step is to output the fields in the correct format, which is:
SKU Barcode CatNum (Same as SKU) Title Quantity (Fixed at 5) Cost
Barcodes must be in 13 digits Number format, with 0 decimal places. If the barcode does not meet this criteria it must be removed and replaced. For these barcodes there must be another table created which links the SKU and the barcode so that the same barcode is exported for each SKU each time.
Title must be in Sentence case
Cost must be a formula, to be * a percentage as set in the web store
The output file then needs to be uploaded by FTP to a different server around 7AM GMT each day.
