I need a simple script made up to schedule a 'touch' cmd via php to a directory of files.
The script ones uploaded should be able to read the files in the directory and at random intervals touch the files within the directory.
I need the option to:
- Specify file type by entering the extensions I want to touch
- Specify directory to read within the root directory
- Specify how many touches per day, week, month at random intervals to set. For example I should be able to enter 5-15 touches per day which will randomly touch anywhere from 5 to 15 files within each day. Or I can specify to randomly touch 10-20 times a week which will completely randomly select some days to touch and some not to.
Can have a cron job setup to run execution of the script.
A simple password login is also required in order to secure the script from access by outsiders.
The end result will be a script that will randomly touch files and update their dating on the server to when ever it was touched.
Should be compatible with php4 and 5 and needs only work in linux environments.
This is a relatively simple job for anybody that knows any php.
