JavaScript Expert Needed for a Few Fixes

Need a JS Expert to help me with a few things:
1. I am using Bootstrap 3 and have code that resizes columns appropriately based on the greatest height of the items per row. The code works but the issue is that when I am on a mobile device and change the orientation of the device, the code does not resize or initialize again to properly set the column heights.
2. I have some links on a page and need to hide them if the are empty , meaning that they do not point to anywhere.
