Introduction
TubeAudioCopy will enable the user to replace undesirable music in a Windows game.
Usage is for a game program that has a directory structure for 10+ game levels for user-chosen music. Access is via a folder structure and the game program automatically detects presence of user-chosen music.
Each game level is represented by a folder under a base path; each of those folders contains a mp3 file which will then be played, on that level, instead of the default music.
The structure of the game program folders is c:\[gameProgramDirectory]\[SubgameName]\[LevelName]
There are up to 20 SubgameNames and each has up to 20 LevelNames.
We are looking to create a program that copies a bunch of files from specific directories to another branch of directories. The branches are chosen by the user, and the user initiates copying and clearing.
Based on our experience the program is simple in design and programming, should be quick to code.
Expected scope of cost USD 50 to 100.
Requirements
1. Platform: Windows 7 and 8; 32 bit and 64 bit. No extra software should be required, e.g. .net or flash. [login to view URL]
2. Definitions:
Target directory = the base directory to which the files are to be copied = TD
Target subdirectory = the N folders located under the target directory = TSD
Source directory = a directory, chosen by the user, containing mp3 files = SD1 or SD 2
3. There are 2 source paths, different and selectable for SD1 and SD2.
4. There are 3 main horizontal areas in the program interface, TD, SD1 and SD2 + the Clear Button
5. Each horizontal area contains in the following vertical order:
TD: display of path, SELECT FOLDER button, “CLEAR” button.
SD1: display of path, a SELECT FOLDER button, “COPY” button.
SD2: display of path, a SELECT FOLDER button, “COPY” button.
The abbreviations are in labelled in full text from the definitions section above.
6. The button labelled “CLEAR MUSIC” deletes the files in each TSD
7. Only files with the extension .mp3 are to be copied. Other file extension names will be disregarded.
8. Chosen settings are saved when set and are available at the next start of the program.
9. Full folder paths including the drive name are displayed for target and source directories.
10. The folder selection interface is standard of windows and should contain the “move up one directory” icon.
11. Simple install procedure or portable usage.
12. The program has one interface window. At the top it is labelled with the title in slightly larger font and bold font weight TubeAudioCopy.
13. All code must be readable, documented, delivered to client. The compilation process must be documented. All code must be free of licenses or may only contain declared licenses which the client may fully use for business purposes.
14. If you find a program that does this or most of this, the client may pay a $100 finders fee if the requirements are mostly met.
