Childrens Story on Fishing!

Our Council has secured funding to recognise and preserve the cultural and historical fishing practice known as Haaf Net fishing on the Solway Firth in Annan, Dumfries and Galloway.
We have an idea for a story, which is being written by a local primary school, about a Salmon who was born in the river Annan and made its way out the Atlantic Ocean and up to the West of Greenland to feed.....during its year away, it was attached by a White Tailed Eagle which pecked a triangle chunk out of its tail.....The Salmon gets the urge to return home and makes the 2000 mile journey with its friends, but some cant continue after falling ill passing a fish farm.....some were lost around trawlers and after being chased by seals.....Our Salmon makes it all the way back to the Solway....to be caught in a traditional Haaf Net...the Netsman picks out the salmon and notices the damaged tail and lets it go...it then goes up the river to spawn....a parting message if for young people to keep an eye out for the tail of the salmon when walking by the river and say hello!
The book will be A4 landscape finished size with approx. 20 pages requiring illustration
