Design an A-Board Poster

Hello,
I'm looking to design a portrait A0 size poster for an A-Board to promote our Pilates Classes. Please see attached a very rough draft (Pilates A0 [url removed, login to view]) of what I'm looking for. I require your design input to make it look professional with:
1. a much better balance of text colour, size, and placement (the poster will be displayed in an A-Board on the footpath outside our clinic, so text needs to be large enough to read easily from a distance)
2. image placement and size - I've placed the image very roughly, however I require your input to adjust / expand / crop / resize the image to ensure it makes an 'impact'. In the best possible case, I would like to see the image fill all the way to the top of the poster.
3. The addition of any other design elements (for e.g. if a border / block of colour / background would help).
The main image is currently in low-res (I'll only buy the hi-res image once I'm happy it will work on this poster). I've attached images, our colour pallet and some example posters that we've done in the past to give you a guide. All fonts need to be from the Source Sans Pro family.
Once designs are approved, final versions will need to be in print-ready PDF. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
