Seeking a smart brand presentation revealing new brand - with the why we chose name, why the colour palette works, the traits of the brand and the brand elements. Here are the details (logo can be a placeholder for now)

Orcana Software is the name
Orca- represents the orca whale.
Cana - represents Canada.
We are a Canadian software company.

Two colours represented in this logo - blueish #227b99 and orange #F06531 - it is a software product breakaway from the main company (Alberta oil and gas company)
Original company is located in the west (alberta) but got its name from a harbour in Newfoundland, Canada and it is located on the east coast of canada. The orca whale is often found in the Atlantic Ocean near Newfoundland.

Whales are a pack animal - they work together, they coordinate. They are very intelligent. They are Apex predators, and sit at the top of the food chain- representing the strongest, the best.

The logo inspiration is an icon to the right of the name - a whale fin in a blue circle with an orange colour implemented into the arch of the bottom of the circle for a sunset.

The sunrise burnt orange is the sun setting in the east and rising in the west. The blue invokes trust and security.
