<Technology Description>
This technology is designed to provide appropriate deceleration assistance when turning right or left at intersections, considering the presence of adjacent vehicles. Normally, when turning at an intersection, it is necessary to consider not only one's own vehicle but also the presence of adjacent vehicles traveling in the adjacent lane. The appropriate method of deceleration for one's own vehicle may differ depending on whether these adjacent vehicles are turning in the same direction or a different direction. Uniform deceleration assistance can sometimes result in a sense of discomfort for the driver.

To solve such issues, this technology recognizes adjacent vehicles and determines whether they are turning in the same direction as one's own vehicle. If it is determined that the adjacent vehicle is turning in the same direction, the technology provides deceleration assistance that increases the distance between one's own vehicle and the adjacent vehicle in the direction of travel, compared to when it is determined that the adjacent vehicle is not turning in the same direction. This helps to reduce any sense of discomfort the driver may feel with the deceleration assistance. Please investigate this technology further.
