I am a Medical Cosmetics Nurse Practitioner who has started a private medical cosmetics/aesthetics practice. I am looking for someone to help me with branding and to design a logo for the company. For a little background on the clients we'll serve and services we offer... I will be serving a somewhat affluent (wealthy) clientele looking for cosmetics procedures such as botox injections, dysport injections, dermal fillers for lip and cheek augmentation, and more. We also will eventually offer things like Cold Sculpting for reduction of body fat and skin toning, Bi-directional long-pulse radiofrequency modulation service for wrinkle reduction and skin tightening, and other medical cosmetic services. We will be partnered with a spa who offers services such as facials, massage, and more. I would like cartoon-style drawings of the services (like someone's lips, their forehead, eyelids, or getting a chemical peel, etc). A good reference would be something SIMILAR to but not the same as https://www.lexrx.co/ and how they display their services. Again, I do not want to copy these images! I am also a male provider while their clinic is all female. While I will be serving mostly female clients, I don't want to come off overly feminine myself.
The company name (my company) is Erised Aesthetics. The name Erised comes from the "Mirror of Erised" which is a reference to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone. I would like to have a mirror somehow incorporated in the logo with the name Erised Aesthetics shown in the logo. I would like the word "Desire" shown in the mirror because "Erised" is simply "Desire" spelled backwards. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or for more detail if needed. Lastly, I like the style of the actual Mirror of Erised but do not want to infringe on the copyright. Therefore, any mirror in the logo may look somewhat similar in style but CANNOT look the exact same.

I am offering $250 for this service and will likely be hiring out for future services to whomever wins the contest.

I’m loving the ones that have included a mirror like the Mirror of Erised. I guess what I would add is to make sure you can identify facial features. This is a facial aesthetics medical spa so if you can’t see the nose, chin, or eyes, that’s not ideal. I like the fancy styled texts you’re using. I like some of the ones with a mixture of colors (gold and purple, silver, etc). I like it on a white background too. Ideally, whatever I chose for a logo I could use on a card, turn into a sign in my clinic, and use on my page. Don’t forget, this is a contest for a logo AND marketing material.

  Well mam sorry to disappoint you with this but those details that you are talking about will only make your logo more complicated which will make things worse for you, let me explain why. When you use the logo in small sizes, the logo will be hard to recognize.

I like a lot of the work that has been submitted so far but nothing has completely jumped out at me yet. I’d like a mirror in the image somehow but if it is good enough, it is not a must. I like some of the “scrolling” type fonts some of you have used. Don’t forget, this is an Aesthetics company that focuses on facial procedure such as lip, cheek, chin, and forehead injections as well as skin therapies. Some of the designs have shown people with no facial features which doesn’t really help. I would like to have s bit of classic design if you’re going to incorporate a mirror and a pop of color would look good too. Again, I like what you guys have been doing but i just haven’t seen “the one” yet.

Rui S. It would not be sequential. Desire would be in the mirror and have a lower opacity than everything else. I’m certainly open to any and all ideas as I am not a graphic designer but it’d be helpful to at least see it.

Make sure you pay attention to some of the details I provided for the logo. I really would like to see a mirror in the logo that shows Erised backwards (which would spell out "Desire"). It may seem corny but that's part of the reason for the name of the company.

  By having "Desire" also in the logo it will make the branding extremely confusing because it would basically spell Erised Desire Aesthethics
