Mydal bunk bed modification

another combination that adds mid century modern style and functionality to the Mydal bunk bed. The front panels create privacy in a dorm like situation and the desk and side selves add additional functionality and style in a limited space. The front panels can be made from ply boards and the table top from wood. The tapered legs for the desk can be store bought or made by a carpenter. Paint can be used to add color.

Thanks for the feedback. Perhaps there are too many cutouts in the front panel that may be distracting to you, and makes it look less clean than it could be. I believe the desk and shelves are very midcentury (with minimalist lines), so I am leaving that part untouched. I am submitting another design with fewer cutouts, just enough to be decorative enough, but mostly functional (provide a sense of openness to the person in the lower bunk.) yet provide a sense of personal space. Hope you like it. Your feedback is appreciated as always.

thank you for submitting. Part of what appeals to us about mid century style is the "clean lines" of form that objects designed in that style have. This design is clever but does not have the sleek, clean lines that we are seeking.

PS: I have shown this with translucent (blue) acrylic panels in the hexagonal cut-outs, but that can be left out if a more open feel i desired.
