MODIFYING AFTER INITIAL SUBMISSIONS (4:34 CST, 11/7/19):
My name is Kelly Fadel. I am a female & am looking for a logo for my kennel name CrownHeir. This name represents MAINLY my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel show dogs. However, we also show Arabian horses. In my original submission, I mentioned both the dogs and horses and most gravitated largely to the horses and NOT the dogs. This largely needs to be about the dogs. If it is the NAME without the animals, that too might be just fine. However, please don't make it JUST about the horses.

USE: After I award the winner of the logo design I will be using it to create a new website where that website will be largely about our family, our dogs and and some about the horses. The history in the name will come into play and be a part of the website. In the business world it is the dog show industry who asks for business cards and if I have a website. So the website will cover all but MAINLY FOCUS ON THE DOGS. The logo will be used on chairs, jackets, business cards, Ad designs and folders for clients that purchase my dogs or hire me for handling their dogs in the show ring.

RESEARCH: Please research the breed. This will help you design a logo fitting to the name and the breed. That is IF you include a dog or dog and horse. IF the logo is going to have the dog and horse featured the animal(s) MUST be the caliber of a show dog or show horse IN the breed we show. I will attach files of the dogs heads and styles of Arabians we are involved with. Since I don't have a website up to refer you to when it comes to the dogs, you can go to ForestcreekCavaliers.com and go to "Our Cavaliers" then open "Boys." The headpieces, coats and body structure is similar to what my dogs look like. DO NOT CONTACT THIS BREEDER. I am only referencing them because their style of dog is correct for our breed.

As for the Arabian horses you can refer to The Arabian Horse Times magazine. I would allow the horses displayed for conformation (halter) purposes OR even better we show Pure Bred Arabian English Park horses. If you look up 2019 Arabian Horse Nationals Tulsa Oklahoma and look at photos of PB English Park horses or video, that will help you greatly. Please no pet quality dogs or any other breeds submitted. And no other venue of horses within the Arabian breed (racing, western, Hunt Seat, etc.). Again, I will most certainly consider logos that do not feature a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or both dog and Arabian.

HISTORY BEHIND THE NAME CrownHeir: We chose the name, CrownHeir because 1. our christian faith 2. The fact that the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the kings dog; heirs to the crown. 3. Arabian horses, in some countries are considered the crown jewels. Many times Cavaliers will be featured laying on velvet pillows. The horses have arching necks, gorgeous heads and flowing manes.

MY STYLE/COLORS: The style I am looking for is classic, timeless, sophisticated. No cookie cutter or generic. I want original and not stock photo's. I am an interior designer. I need sophisticated, classy and original. The use of a shield and a crown are of interest to me but I would consider any amazing design. Details are good. Keep in mind it shouldn't be hard to read or difficult to print on folding chairs and jackets. Clean and sophisticated is also welcoming.
My show colors are black, white and gold. Many times I like to coordinate seasonal color into my basic color scheme for ad prints, show ground set ups or other.

CONCLUSION: I will look at all options as long as they follow the perimeters. I look forward to seeing your amazing work. I will provide feedback along the way and best of luck!

    Hello CH! I'm interested to participate in your contest. It would be nice if you can #sealed the contest. Some of the designers feel confident to participate in contests that offer to protect them work by sealing it (so only you can see it). Also, it is a plus cuz nobody copies other designer’s work.

    Now you can be sure which designer is giving you a design completely made by itself and you can feedback and rating to guide them get better. Some of the designers feel more confidence to participate in contests that offer to protect them work by sealing it and by guaranteeing the final price.
