Background
Heemaar Food is spice and snack food manufacturer. The company is planning to launch a new snack product. The new product requires a logo and packaging that is both attractive and distinctive.
The requirement is to design the pouch for the snack food products. The product will be in a pouch of 115mm × 170mm made of laminated plastic (three side seal pouch, top, bottom and back side).
The product logo would cover about 30% of the pouch area front panel. The front panel of the pouch is 115mm×170mm.
The products used for this pouch are: sweet and savory popcorn, cone and ring shape chips pellets, and wheat based fried biscuits (croquettes or chin chin). The pouch will be transparent in the middle and the product inside will be visible.
The name of the product is “Qac iyo Qac” which means in Somali language “Crunch and Crunch” literaly. This is the biting sound one makes while eating the product.
The target consumers are kids of age 2 yrs to 16 yrs old.

Scope
1. Design an attractive logo for this product which will include the name of the product.
2. Design the overall pouch with Illustrations of the products which can also be provided on the lower part of the pouch. The top part where the logo is located can also have illustration such as cartoon character, products illustration etc.

Color scheme
Yellow and green are suggested as the main colors. Bright alternative colors would be considered if they are distinctive and appealing to kids.
