I would like concept ideas for 3 separate baches that sit on 3 adjacent sections on the water front of Rakino island in the Hauraki gulf by Auckland in New Zealand. The 3 baches should feel like they are part of a complex with a common theme. The total land area is 3247 square meters. The sections face north so they catch the sun. Each house should capture as much of the views as possible.
The 3 baches should be all self contained and capable of having a family of 4 or 5 living in each of them.
It is important these baches fit in with the environment i.e. the island is trying to be clean and green. A few photos are attached to show the current two baches on two of the three properties. These baches will likely be demolished (if the ideas presented are better than what exists) rather than refurbished and so open to new ideas.
There is no electricity or water supplied on the island so baches will be solar powered and collect water.
Site coverage for each section is approximately 20% for building and 10% for decks. However individual site size can be flexed because the boundaries between each section could be changed to provide sites of more equal size for building.
Provided are 4 attachments. one shows an aerial topological plan of the 3 sections, one with two photos of the views from the deck of section 23 (one looking back at Auckland which is 17 km from the island and the other showing the beach below that every site has easy access too), the third an aerial shot from the water of the 3 sections before trees were planted, and finally a view from the sea to the sections.

  In terms of rooms we thought of one main bedroom for parents and another bed room for kids. A kitchen and dining area in one together with a large living room. The house can be built on two levels due to the contours of the land.
  I was hoping for your good ideas as I have some preconceived ideas of what I want but really want to see what others think.
