Freelance: consultant and trainerOct 2009
Two main focuses as freelance: consultancy and teaching. As consultant, he has worked in a Sales and Marketing role, mainly for telecommunications and renewable energies companies. As instructor, he has taught for several companies, such as Avaya, Sumaria Networks, Hewlett Packard, The Training Associates, Rational Selling, Alchemilla, Delco spa, Westcon, Vacallo Municipality, Ultimate Knowledge, LPW.

Into the EMEA Marketing team he was responsible for the Avaya IP Telephony and Unified Communication portfolio; in particular about the voice and video endpoints.

In this role he was the point of contact (inside the PM team) between the R&D in the USA and EMEA region sales force (internals and BP's). My responsibility was the Avaya Unified Communication portfolio roadmap; so from the project conception and approval, through the product tests, to the launch on the market, to the knowledge transfer to services and sales, till the end of sale declaration.

In these two years he was in charge of building and leading a little team of Product Management in Italy, in a tied relationship with the Marketing and Sales teams. My challenge was to “guide” the vast Avaya portfolio, from IP Telephony to CRM, to the correct and efficient introduction on the Italian market.
