We felt we were taking a bit of a risk with someone new to freelancer, but in the end, we’re happy we took a chance on hiring Josh. We started out by using skype to meet him online and discuss the project. Our brief was a simple mobile application using xamarin for iphone and android app. The result is much more than my expectations, the first milestone was hit within 4-5 days and we added some requirements and some feedback on presentation, overall the process worked very smoothly and Josh ended up working like a seasoned pro. He had a Mac and tested our app on his iphone and also had a pc and was able to test using visual studio on pc (which is our working environment). We left most of the UI design with Josh (we were lucky we didn’t over spec it, as Josh nailed the interface, better than we could imagine); Overall Josh didn’t an awesome job and we are getting next project ready for him. I wish him the best in his future career as freelancer / contractor working with mobile apps.
