102241 Sales Quotation system

We have a UK customer with a live Pegasus Opera I accounts system. Pegasus Opera I is written in FoxPro DOS, source code not available, runs on FoxPro database. We need to create a standalone Sales Quotation system that will run offline from Opera. The program will be installed on many different PCs with different Windows versions and MS Office versions so it is important that the program is simple to install and does not require a particular PC configuration. Our customer is a distributor and the program will be used both by our customers' staff and also by their customers who are stockists. Prefer .NET for the program and MS Access for the database - we will own copyright in the code and you wil provide full compilable source code. There will be tables for Products, Special Prices/Discounts, Quotations, Quotation lines, Customers Import/Update the Products and Special Prices/Discounts tables and Product pictures and PDFs by downloading an XML file The Product table cannot be edited by the user - only updated by XML file import Search for Porducts and display Product information, including Pictures and PDF Product information sheets Maintain Customers Create and Print Quotations Mark a Quotation as won or lost, choose reason code if lost Export a Quotation to XML for importing as an order itno an accounting system (import program is a separate project) Print Reports of Quotations This project is No. 2a of 4 projects we have for the same customer - each one is a separate Scriptlance project - other projects are : 1) Synchronisation program to connect Pegasus Opera and osCommerce 2b) XML Sales orders import tool - import XML Sales orders files and push into Opera 3) Sales Returns system to link with Opera tables - create and process RMAs and insert Sales credit notes into Opera 4) Sales statistics reports - Customer has been re-keying Opera reports into existing Excel spreadsheets - replace keying-in with program reading data from Opera
