Not receiving order confirmation email from woo commerce.

I believe the email server is working fine - i think the problem is in woocommerce attempting to communicate with the paypal server - since inside woocommerce it never changes from "pending" to "processing". So like my order that i made payment for, it still shows "pending payment" inside woocommerce. If it was working fine, it would have shown "processing" instead. All emails except order confirmation email are working.
