63682 Convert PNG Files to CSS HTML

A Little About Me & The Assignment ============================= I am a small web design firm with one of my own sites that has been in development for months now. It is a site for photographers and journalists called International Press Association. [login to view URL] All the back end programming for the site has been completed and hopefully will work correctly with our database, but now we are in our design stage and have many of the pages on the site already designed, converted to HTML and some are integrated into the site. You can view the site in progress at: [login to view URL] We have just lost our team member who was taking our PNG files (prepared by our designer) and he has been slicing them and converting them to HTML. Since we use layers it is a bit tricky and you have to know how to convert the art to HTML using CSS. As you can see from some of the pages on the site, the art work is on its own layer and the text on another so that the text boxes will expand as necessary. Once the files have been sliced and saved as HTML files they will go onto our programmer who will code them in PHP to integrate them into the site. This job is to take the art and convert it to finished HTML pages correctly. Many pages are quite small as they are only the "Middle Section" on our web site. As you can see from the site, the top, left side and bottom are constant and will be called up as the pages load. The only part of these pages that will change are the middle sections. So although there might be 70 pages to do (maybe a bit more), many are very simple and should take very little time. Others are repetitive pages like a form that has a small change based on a payment option the client selects. I would estimate this to be a two day to one week job for someone who is proficient at doing this and knows his stuff and think someone in an 8 hour day can do at least 15 pages or more (30 minutes or less per page) using the proper software. We do not have the time to train anyone or want any beginners, "Been There Done That" We prefer either an individual or a company that is really good at this work and can knock it out fast and send it onto our programmer. We will require you to prove to us you can do the job and you will be asked to submit a completed page or two before the job is awarded. You can set the page up on your server, we don't want you to feel we want you to work for us for free. You must have excellent feedback either on SL or Elance that we can verify. You will have to stay within the time line you estimate this job to take or we reserve the right to cancel our contract with you. If you estimate a week to do the job and we accept, better not take two weeks or we will have a problem. Payment ======== We will pay as follows: 1/3rd after the first 10 pages are converted and accepted 1/3rd after 80% of the job is complete Final payment when the job is done. We will also be happy to set up payment through the SL Escrow services if necessary. We pay promptly but want to make sure you can and will complete the job. Further Information =============== You will also have the ability to speak or email our current guy who is doing this work and certainly our artist and programmer. Our current guy has accepted a full time position in India and can no longer do our work. Both our Designer and Programmer are Indians. The designer now lives in the US in New York and the programmer is in India so we work at all times of the day and night. I am located in the US in New Jersey and on EST zone.
