Webscraping (no API) exchange rates from banks

Hi, there - My name is Dipesh. I've read your job description and I am very interested in this project because I have good experience with web scraping with python. I've scraped a lot of website ranging from a directory, bookstore, and e-commerce. I am comfortable using beautiful soup scraping library. I can scrape the exchange rates from the bank's web page without using any API from exchange providers. Even though I'm just starting out on freelancing I can certainly complete the project with all of your requirement. I would love to speak with you further about taking this project on. Regards.

Hi I have worked on quite a few scraping jobs, some included logging-in to password protected areas (we had permission to log in, just wanted to automate the human process) to scrape details of yachts including availability for rentals and sites that have real-time updates on their data (via AJAX/JSON etc). I have also scraped financial information for prices of shares, over 50k recipes from 3 different websites, 10k company details for various NGOs around the world, etc, etc. I would like to ask for $30/website but I feel that is not likely to sit well with you so i'd do it at half that rate since many of the sites should be similar *fingers crossed* but I would like to first see the eight websites before we agree please, so I can be 100% I can deliver. If I understand correctly, the script would be updating a page of HTML, is that right? Would the scrape run on each viewing or would you prefer to have it run routinely, i.e. once per hour or once per day? Might I suggest having it run once per hour or once per day so that your server's IP is not blocked by the banks? (The script could either update a file on the server or store the data in MySQL). I have asked for 7 days as I am currently working at someone's office part-time so I just want to be sure if I get stuck I have a buffer to get the job done. Thanks
