budget is flexible. We are looking to simply the process and definitely save time is top priority. the software will be used between admins and employees only. No access to anyone else We are auto collision/ mechanic / Rebuilders. Our business is to repair damaged vehicles and then sell them for profit. The goal is to be able to order parts, enter the parts, track when they were ordered, track when they recieved, also any returns calculate cost that goes into each vehicle Let me explain the process of our routine. The car comes from the auction, [login to view URL] enter it into the system by scanning the Vin (vehicle identification number) It will be great if it can decode the vin and provide the details of the vehicle and if not then we can enter that manually. Like make model, year ,milage , color etc 2. Assign the RO/Stock number which should be searchable .Every car is identified by RO or the stock number. 3. Once its entered into the system ,Then it goes through the parts ordering phase. We input all the parts into the software with photos. 4. Once all the parts are finalized. Then we place the order through different vendors. We want to be able to see how many parts are ordered and how many are not by colors. For Example like Parts ordered should go in Blue color, parts not ordered in yellow , parts received in green , Parts return in red etc Just an idea . If you have better idea, we can use that as well 5 .Once the parts arrive, our part manager will check those in .Check mark those as he receives them. If any wrong part, then enter those in for return Once all the parts arrive, we want to see that Stock/RO in green or like flashing so lets say if we have 50 Stock/RO on the page, then we will know how many are green and ready for repair instead of going in every stock number to see which one is ready which will be time consuming. So to be able to see from the front page will be ideal without click on any stock. We don't start repair until all the parts arrive 6. Be able to enter invoices with screen shots and get a total cost of parts under that RO. Should be able to calculate. Basically calculate the cost of total repairs done on the car so we can know if its going over budget or under. Be able to enter body shop repair hours , paint hours and mechanic hours these are the main points we want to be able to use this on phone as well because mostly we are mobile and not in front of computer all the time
