Animate a 2D or 3D retelling of young Icarus trying to fly to our song "Gravity" (link in description)

Hello Freelancers, we would like to hire a animator for our first single's Music video "Gravity" A story of Icarus. (All/Any animation style is welcome depending on the quality) (3D/2D/Claymation)

We understand that these projects can be expensive and price can be negotiated depending on quality of work. (Royalties Percentages after final sale can be discussed as well.)

*Details*

-Icarus should be a blonde child with a steam punk look.

-Wings should be a wooden / wax contraption w/feathers.

-Father figure's description up to the artist.

-This is a music video and we'd like if the chorus could be sung in the attempts of Icarus flights. (Dramatic touch is encouraged)

Opening

Quote: "Life is a cycle, Gravity will defy you."

Intro

Gravity is a dark, almost Gothic retelling of Icarus. We are expecting looming scenery and Tim Burton esk feeling. The animation should feature the beginning of Icarus's quest for flight (With or without family supporting cast/backstory).

Verse

after few attempts of flight Icarus's doubt should begin to overcome his ambition and negatively effect his courage. Until coming to the realization that flight is his dream

Chorus

Soon after Icarus should try and fail multiple times being pulled back down to earth or pushed from the sky from giant hands morphed from the ground or sky. ending the chorus with him being pulled violently down to earth.

2nd Verse

Icarus should be in a crater recovering from the hurdle towards earth before returning to work on his wings of wax. -Doubt and fear should start to set in an attempt to sway him from his goal, but he perseveres through it all.

2nd Chorus

Icarus should make it past the hands trying to restrain him to earth only to realize that his contraption is beginning to melt and fall apart. (This is where the optional father figure would attempt to save him but fail)

(Optional "2nd Chorus" 1) Icarus's fear should over come him and panic should engulf his face as he begins tumbling towards earth reaching towards the sky the entire way down yearning for a life he was never meant to live. As he falls he tries to stabilize his wings through the guitar solo playing until he gives up and gives into the fall shutting his eyes "Dying" from the rate of speed.

(Optional "2nd Chorus" 2 - not preferred, but if you would like to try.) Icarus surpasses the hands restraining him to earth and goes to high, his weight not long connecting him to earth realizing gravity was not trying to keep him down from living a dream, but instead trying to save him from a life he was never meant to live. Fear sets in and overcomes Icarus in panic as his wings ignite and burn slowly melting the wax and setting the wooden structure of his wings ablaze.

Ending Build up

(Optional Ending 1) Should either be Icarus' tumble towards earth ending with a zoomed out picture of a beautiful landscape as he falls and eventually hits the ground. (Would love it if the hands came up to gently set him down though having been burned by the flames of the contraption still perish from burns/speed of the fall)

or

(Optional Ending 2) Icarus should surpass the atmosphere only to be suffocated by the lack of gravity in space. - Continuing from the original Idea the camera should zoom out after the last dramatic shot of Icarus's panic before he perishes and ascends into the ever nothingness of space.

*Additional Information*

-Additional thought if you add the father figure it would be cool if the father flies too high and suffers the father of ending 2, and Icarus suffers the fate of ending 1.

-If the animator could focus directly on the bruising/blood/scars suffered by Icarus through multiple falls that would be a huge plus.
