## Deliverables
Scope of Work - Mosait Conversion
Objective:
Convert the Open Source Solution Mosait (<[login to view URL]>) into a web solution that we will host on our site
When the image is clicked it will have similar functionality as the on the mosait website <[login to view URL]>
? Viewing of the Mosaic
? Zoom in Zoom out
? Thumbnail view of individual picture
? Thumbnail Title - (Included in Upload See Below)
? Thumbnail Description - (Included in Upload See Below)
? Viewing each thumbnail individually
? Just like in the Mosait when the thumbnails are double clicked you are taken to a new page with the full size photo shown
o Mosiat uses flicker
o We need your expertise to see if this is a viable solution for the photos
? We will need to know the following
? Will we be able to upload the photos into the Flikr account from our website
? Once uploaded will they be only viewable by site visitors
? We do not want for the website visitors to upload photos from a third party site because of business reasons
o We need to know if there are other photo solutions that we could use as the storage of the photos.
? Other solution may include
o Ultimately the photo database needs to have a lot of flexibility and may need to be built exclusively for this project using MySQL and PHP
? Search for photo title etc or any of the other criteria below
o This will be really important as the tiles may be placed differently as the mosaics evolve
? View of Original Art
Functionality:
## Mosaic Images
1. The Mosaic Image will be preloaded on the back end of the database
a. Just like Mosait has the Mona Lisa, Eifel Tower, etc.
2. All photo tiles will be uploaded by website visitors
3. Number of photo mosaic images 4+
## Uploading Photos
1. Web Visitors will come to our site
2. Visitors must login to the site or register on the site
a. This can be done via Facebook etc
b. All returning visitors must be able to see the photos they have uploaded into the mosaic
3. They will upload a picture to go into the photo mosaic
a. Photos will need to have a size limit
4. The upload will include the following details
a. Photo - Required
b. Photo Title - Required - (Included in in Thumbnail Description)
c. Photo description - (Included in in Thumbnail Description)
d. Website URL link - (Included in in Thumbnail Description)
e. Twitter handle- (Included in in Thumbnail Description)
f. Facebook handle- (Included in in Thumbnail Description)
5. Once a photo has been uploaded the mosaic will be recreated with the new uploaded image
a. We will need to know how long this will take for a larger number of photos this will need to be done on a scheduled basis (say every 10 minutes when the photo database reaches a certain number of photos)
6. These photos will be kept in a MySQL Database
# Integration:
The Solution must be able to integrate with our web solution. The Ease of Integration will help us determine our web platform:
We are considering the following web solutions (in order of preference)
? Square Space - <[login to view URL]>
? Concrete5 - <[login to view URL]>
? Joomla - <[login to view URL]>
? Droopal - <[login to view URL]>
? WordPress - <[login to view URL]>
