Hi! Data recovery is something I really enjoy doing. Please make sure you unmount the drive immediately (or turn the server off) to reduce the risk of overwriting. I know how painful it can be to lose files so I really want to help, and I would take as much care as if the file was my own. I have worked with filesystems by hand at the binary level (FAT, ext2/3/4, NTFS) and also with forensics tools (Sleuthkit, autopsy etc). If the file is still on the disk somewhere I can probably find it. Especially if it is not compressed (formats like JPG, MP4, and ZIP are harder to recover.) Note: if you saved over the file (i.e. saved with the same name) it is harder to recover than if you only deleted it. But sometimes it is still possible. Hopefully you can see I am transparent and genuine. Thanks for considering me.
