I'm a freelance developper making a video game and I don't have a big budget. I look for a translator to translate it from French to English. I also need another translator for a "checking" job to check the final translation (check the english text only) and improve anything when needed. Project description : Historical/Religion Video game about the "Da vinci Code" book topic. The game will be sold into French and English language. between 500 units minimum, more if success. Translation requiert for description texts and dialogues. Main difficulties : religious and historical locutions, french expressions/locutions/proverbs to replace by english equivalents. Amount : about 35 000/40 000 words. The texts will be sent by email (Type: DOC or XLS (WORD - EXCEL)) - literary language and professionnal translator prefered. Your name will be shown in the game credits (if you wish it).

Offers below mine are the ones made by people who mostly don't know anything about the language they will translate into,and rely on machine translation to do the job for them (and we know what disaster can come out of something like this)...no offense meant to anyone,but 1 $/100 word means 0.01 USD/word,and this price would be considered an insult by any serious translator... I am an experienced translator (more than 12yrs experience),I have experience in the translation of many different types of documentations. My offer is at 0.025 USD/source word for tan eventual EN>IT version (the Italian marketplace is getting larger and larger). If interested in my offer feel free to pm me for more details.

Despite they are not my natives languages, my level of writing is very fluent and dynamic, probably what's needed to add a literary sensation to the translation.
