Hi. I´m responding here in case you need this kind of help in the future, because I already have a commitment for the dates you mention. I´m an American translator and interpreter, a native English speaker, but I´ve lived in Brazil for 30 years, so my Portuguese is also excellent. I worked in the offshore industries for about 15 years (seismic exploration, oil production on platforms, ROV/diving ops, oceanography, etc.) along the Brazilian coast from Fortaleza to Florianópolis, but mostly in the Campos Basin. I live an hours drive north of Rio, so getting there is no problem. I do translation of written texts, transcription/translation of videos, and interpretation of conversation (not simultaneous - only 1person speaking, pause for me to translate, next person speaking, pause for me to translate, etc.). I have worked translating news for a News Agency called Bang! Showbiz. Based in London, they focus primarily on entertainment news. My job consited in: receiving the newsletter, translating the story, record it in portiguese, send them the script with the audio. I did this for them 5 times a week for 2 years. I have also worked with another english company: Ennovators. My job description was: crafting news about male heatlh issues while product placing pills or treatments that sposored us; doing the research for SEO and putting in good places whithin google ranking.
