Bengali (Bangladesh) Transcription work opportunity

Dear partner, We are reaching out to check your interest and availability for a new audio transcription project. In this project, we will be transcribing short audios to text in Bengali. We will also need to make sure that transcriptions follow the specific style guide. This is work from home, working time is flexible, you only need a computer, internet connection and headset to be able to listen to the audio. Start date: Already Started Expected availability needed: Minimum 10h/week, preferably between 15-25 hours/week, but can be even more. Payment conditions: 0.90 INR/sentence/hour. Estimated throughput is 100-120 sentences/hour, so the hourly income might be Rs. 90.00 per hour. If this rate would not be feasible please disregards this email. I do not mean to insult anybody with this offer. Training and test: If you are interested in working on the project, you will be asked to take transcription training and test. You will need to reach 90% accuracy in the test, you have 3 attempts to pass the test. Short term projects: You will be paid after 30 days completing of the project or prior of the 30 days. Data: The data to transcribe will be short sentences, voice commands or search queries (audios of 5-10 second length). Audio quality might vary, since it is collected from different speakers and environment Quality: Quality is critical to this project and will be monitored at all times. Because transcriptions cannot be accessed or revised after submission, Transcribers are responsible for providing high quality transcriptions with a minimum quality rate of 90%. Transcribers with lower than expected quality will be notified and might be asked to take actions to improve their quality, such as successfully completing additional testing. We may terminate our relationship with any Transcriber who has frequent or excessive poor-quality submissions. In extreme cases, when Transcribers submit a very high number of items within a very short time, with very low quality (and where, for example, transcription submission time is shorter than actual audio length of relevant utterances, which indicates that audios are actually not properly listened to), We will remove such Transcribers immediately. We will also consider such conduct as a material breach of the Transcriber’s obligations to provide services that are error-free and that comply with our specifications, and We will accordingly seek all available remedies against the Transcriber. Those remedies may include relying on the Transcriber’s breach to relieve We from its obligations to that Transcriber, including an obligation to provide payment for such services.
