Job Title: Telemarketing Services Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketer to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services. The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele. Responsibilities and Duties -Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services and/or charitable causes. -Record customer details including reaction to the product or service offered -Obtain contact details of potential customers from sources including telephone directories and purchased lists -Obtain contact details of potential customers from sources including telephone directories and purchased lists -Adjust scripted sales pitch to meet needs of specific individuals -Obtain customer information including names and addresses -Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers - Answer telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements Qualifications Education level: High school diploma; BSc/Ba is a plus Experience: Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing Specific skills: Communication skills, Information gathering and management, Negotiation skills Personal characteristics: Persuasiveness and Adaptability
