I need a formula for calculation of wall thickness of burried vessel. it is a pipe, 6 m long with diameter of 2320 mm. I need to calculate wall thickness and also an explanation why FE analysis gives me unrealistic results. It is ok to calculate with hydrostatic pressure but can also be calculated with equal external pressure of 30 kPa. materijal is steel S235
