Hi I am a database expert with 12 years experience in handling MS SQL and MySQL databases. I have worked as DBA for large ERP databases and use to write and do performance tuning for SQL queries, procedures and triggers. I have worked with several ERP databases to write queries and procedures to create custom reports. The slow query could be either due to a badly written query or due to the lack of proper indexing or a genuine delay due to huge volume of data. If it is one of the first two cases, then I could take a look and try to fix it. Can you please share the query and also advise on how many records approximately you have the tables involved.
