I need a contractor to write a VB.NET console application using Visual Studio. VB.NET, Visual Studio 2017 (Community) and SQL Server 2014 I have an existing ERP system that generates CSV files about 3 times per day. I need the VB.NET console application to read (process) these CSV files and move the records into a SQL database table. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS FOR DETAILS I am expecting this is a simple VB Console Application. The requirements are well spec’ed, in the attached document. Sample data will be provided and database design will be provided. There is minimal analysis required so I do not want project managers or system analysts bidding I want a coder to bid on this. I need someone who is ready to start as soon as possible. I must have good clear commented code and proper variable names using camel case. If the application works but the code is messy I will not pay the final milestone. All source code must be handed over at the end of the project. I do not want bids from alternative coding languages. I know this could be done in other languages but I will only appoint someone if they use VB.NET, Visual Studio 2017 (Community) and SQL Server 2014 (Express) The milestones will be set up so that most of the payment is made for handing over the code but at least 20% of the project amount will be withheld until the application is released and working in production This project it to process one type of CSV file that is generated. In total I have 6 types to be generated so if the contractor does a good job on this one there will be further work to complete the other types I am not considering bids over $200 as this is a simple piece of code for straight forward processing. There is no GUI to develop and there are not multiple objects.

I'm a native vb.net developer that then moved to C# about 2 years ago, but I have developed vb.net since 2003 and prior to that vb since 1995 PD: Email sending represent an external variable partially out of my control, because it depends on what is going to be your SMTP Server. If I have to configure SendGrid in Azure, or do stuff other than coding the SMTP Client with the smtp host, username, password in the console app, I'll charge extra for that work. Thanks!!

Hi there - I'm Aly, I've seen your post and I'm interested. I've had much experience in Microsoft .net stack either it C# or VB.Net. I understand you want to process frequently created CSVs and insert their data into a SQL Server database. I've done similar work before and I believe I'm capable of achieving your goal. However, there's one condition I don't agree with, that is, a 20% of project milestone will be paid after release and production.
