If you use the review-feature with word, you can either set the markups to a special color (then *all* changes will have this color) or you can set it per author (then Word chooses the color).
The recommodation is, that this color per author is choosable, so that each author has it's own color.
This color-setup should be stored localy on the PC, so that - once chosen - this user on that PC always has this color.
The color has to be persistant in the document, so that - if the document is sent to another PC - the color does not change and the recipient can review in his own color.
Example: the president gets a Word Document and his once chosen color is green. If he reviews the doc, all his changes are in green.
He saves the doc and sends it to the vice-president. The vice-president sees the presidents changes in green. His own color is red. So his changes are in red.
If he saves the doc and sends it to a third person, this person sees red and green changes and knows by that color who changed what.
I know, that one can see the author by text so that it does not matter which color the author has, but my customer wants it just the described way.
It would be ok, if the setup of the color had to be done by IT-staff (because colors never will change) but it has to be persistant on each computer, so that it does not have to be adjusted each time.
