One of our products [login to view URL], there are some .ddl files and sample codes which are downloadable from above link. As well the files and manuals are attached to this posting. We need to setup some sample codes / files so that the device will work error free in Ubuntu using Mono to communicate and set up singals to trigger the lights and sounds of the open architecture LED Signal Tower hardware. Currently the team is facing an error message when trying to communicate to the device - error message attached. Any advise solution, re-building of file to fix the issues to have a the hardware communicating properly is the solution we seek.

Hi there I think I know what the problem is. The dll is not a .net dll. its a win32/64 dll. The windows executable file format aka (PE Format) doesnt run on linux. REgards Maurice

The DLL driver library provided by Patlite is not compatible with Linux. The USB protocol itself is documented in the manual and I can develop a driver using LibUsbDotNet, which would work both on Linux and also on Windows. For development and testing, I'll need remote access to a system that has the device connected to it, or someone with access to the device to perform some tests.
