I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Windows using Java. Responsibilities: • Writing clean, architecturally sound and maintainable code. • Maintaining the current Android apps by fixing bugs and improving application performance and speed. • Working with the other Android engineers to create a seemless intergration. • To deliver features on tight deadlines. • Creating a multiple-language mobile app for the entire middle east. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, design and ship new features. • Unit-test code for robustness, include edge cases, usability and reliability. • Working with our testing team to ensure 100% test coverage. • Discovering and implementing the newest technologies. Skills Absolute Minimum Requirements - and we’re not joking: • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience with Java; • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Android SDK, SQLite, XML, Web Services, and Location-based development; • Diverse portfolio of developed Android apps; • Excel in creating beautiful and elegant mobile application UI’s; • Solid understanding of mobile web application development; • Solid knowledge of different caching layers and strategies; • Solid experience with data structures and database managment; • Understanding of modern software development methodologies; • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git; • Strong communication skills - you will be brainstorming, discussing and engaging in deep dialog - often!; Job Details
