Sales rep perform outbound telemarketing, building up merchants contact list, contact merchants via phone or walk-ins to sign them up to Ultimate Savers Club® discount savings program, keep merchant list current and updated, contact merchants periodically to make sure they are still honoring their discount or find out if they have a better discount to offer.
Sales rep shall obtain merchants through business yellow page listings via online or print. They must work on obtaining merchants 4 hours per day. They will work from a manufactured script to give them a significant chance of signing up merchants. They must turn in reports of all merchants contacted at the end of every week on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for making cold calls or walk-ins at least 4 hours a day Mon-Fri to potential merchants in an attempt to sign them up to Ultimate Savers Club® Discount Program
- Organize and collect progress reports
- Monitor project calendar, ensuring project is on schedule and all form are filled out correctly
- Obtain merchants through business yellow page listings via online or print.
- Ideally you will be generating 5-7 quality leads per day.

- Develop new accounts by marketing company product line and various services
- Generate leads from select contact database through cold calling and other sales techniques
- Qualify leads and transition to the appropriate Inside Sales Associate or field Territory Sales Manager
- Identify, implement, record, and measure regular, continuous prospecting efforts throughout assigned territory to grow market share
- Follow up with customers via telephone to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and resolve problems
- Demonstrate a high level of communication and teamwork with operational and sales teammates
Requirements:
• A minimum of two years of customer service or sales experience
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, detail oriented individuals who have the ability to be flexible
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Exceptional ability to multi-task and manage personal productivity
• PC proficiency in Microsoft Word
Preferred, but not mandatory traits include:
• Minimum of one year of outbound calling sales experience
• Business to business sales experience
• Exceptional written and verbal skills.
As a sales rep you will contact businesses in your area and inform them of the Ultimate Savers Club “ULTIMATE” discount card program. Explain the card to them in detail, including the deals it offers them for being a merchant member. Refer to benefits that suggests that offering special unique discounts help bring in new customers or retain old customers.
We are looking to build a long lasting rapport with anyone who can deliver this service to us successfully, please remember that this is a commission based project. Commissions is $300 per sale
