Hi, I'm looking to put together a report on how Chinese consumers and businesses are using WeChat (微信) in the following areas: buying and selling used or "idle" (闲置) goods; posting and applying for jobs. The report should total around 800 words, and would include original quotes sourced from industry insiders/company representatives etc., with contact details so that I can follow up (I speak Chinese). Questions to be answered include: - How does the WeChat ecosystem function? - If I want to sell my bicycle on WeChat how do I go about doing that? - What marketplaces and classifieds sites have been most successful using it ([login to view URL] etc.)? - Why are the mini-programs so effective? - Does it essentially mean that companies don't need apps or sites? Is it cheaper to have a mini-program? - Are these companies vulnerable to influence/demands of WeChat (and by default to Tencent)? - Anything else you think would be insightful in relation to WeChat and marketplaces/classifieds?
