At University, I act as a class helper for several professors, due to my ability to understand and explain new information to my partners in a way that it is understandable for them.
As a bilingual person, I spent most of my life helping people with their English, and now that I'm a mom of two kids, (6 years old boy and 16 years old girl), I still help them with their English homework (and all their friend's ones), and it's something I really enjoy!
Currently I'm teaching Spanish to a woman from L.A. We practise the oral part through phone calls, and we have a shared doc that we use for homework (where I make all the corrections). I can refer to her if you'd like to ask for feedback!
I've also done it before with a woman living in Gabon, whose native language was French and wanted to learn some more Spanish. That experience was not considered a job as we'd met through Facebook, and she asked me to talk to her in Spanish as a favour, and she was nice! Anyway is something I felt really comfortable doing!
To sum up, as a University student of Professional Nursing, not only I handle a high academic Spanish level, but also kindness and patience are my best skills.
