For my final Year project I am currently working on a CNN model for Facial Recognition for Surveillance Purposes. In the past 3 months I have gotten massive experience in using Libraries like Tensorflow, Keras, Numpy and Sci-kit Learn. I also have two years of experience in Python and very fluent in it and using different libraries built for Python to develop Graphical User Interfaces e.g PyQt, PyGUI. I most certainly understand that you need a (CNN based) Object Character Recognition (OCR) model for detecting and identifying Chinese Alphabets and Numbers in given photos. I propose using a Transfer Learning Approach by using an already pre-trained model (InceptionV3, or VGG16 ) as feature extractor with Linear Classifier at the Top Layer for classification.
