Good morning,
My name is Nadene Seiters, and I’m a professional line editor, copyeditor, and proofreader with eight years of experience working with autobiographies and memoirs. I’m most proficient in the Chicago Manual of Style, which is currently being used by major publishers and review publications (the New York Times’ Best Seller’s List) across the United States and abroad. However, if you prefer another style, please feel free to ask if I’m knowledgeable of it; odds are pretty good that I am.
Portfolio pieces can be found in my profile, as well as reviews from happy clients. I can provide you with a sample if you send me a quick message via Freelancer. I’ve created two documents from the document you attached: one with the revisions showing and a clean version you can take a look at. In addition to grammatical errors and tense errors, I found many formatting errors that will create problems for the printer. Grammatically, I found the usual errors: missing or unnecessary punctuation, a few noun-verb agreement errors, improperly formatted ellipses and em dashes, and paragraphs of dialogue that needed to be broken up between the speakers.
I’m willing to edit, proofread, and format your document for $0.0025 per word, and I can have 140,000 words completed within fourteen days of contract acceptance.
I sincerely appreciate your time and consideration, and if you have any questions about an edit I’ve made in the sample, please feel free to ask.
Sincerely,
Nadene Seiters
