Zen_cart - dynamic Pedigree

New Pedigree page needed for Zen_cart installation. I have created a custom product_type for the display of dogs in showcase mode. The product type allows users to select the sire and dam of a dog from the products_description table and stores those id's in the custom product type's extras table. The document_dog_info_display page extracts the sire and dam along with other info for dog display. What I need is a reusable class and template layout which uses the existing sire and dam information to create a pedigree. For each dog shown in the pedigree get that dog's sire and dam and continue through the number of generations disired. If sire and dam do not exist in the db - echo Dog unknown. sort of thing. The class may be recursive but will need to set variables for the following pedigree cells. Require any necessary classes/modules/languages/tpl files and mysql needed to work properly. Am looking for 1.2.7 and/or 1.3 Zen Cart version compatibility. Thank you for your interest.
