Source Queries via Websocket

I only have small bits of experience with PHP, and other developers have recommended me use NodeJS with Websockets to obtain what I'm trying to achieve. In short, I'd like to use this lib ([login to view URL] though I usually use a PHP one, from what I can tell I won't be able to get "real-time" with PHP) to display real-time server stats on an index page I'm working on. The IP, Port, & server type would be already predefined in a [login to view URL] file I have. The main thing is taking those variables and running them through the query, then displaying them real-time onto the page. I'm using Twig to create the server boxes though. So it would have to support an "infinite" amount of servers, and as each IP gets added to the config, it would be queried through the NodeJS file, and a new server card would be made for it to display the stats. I'm very bad at explaining things, so I apologize. I hope this is possible.
