Send email confirmation for success on payment gateway extension -- 2

I have a Payment Gateway installed which works fine, except for the fact that the email confirmation is not being sent to the customer when the payment is received. The gateway is based on PuntoPagos documentation which can be found in this link: [login to view URL] (in Spanish) These are my payment urls (or endpoints) for PuntoPagos : failure: [login to view URL] success: [login to view URL] So, for example, after a successful transaction through PuntoPagos, the gateway redirects to [login to view URL] .. where NRCLTVWMNU97LD6X is a token identifier of this transaction. This pages shows a message from Magento saying that the order has been received successfully and they should receive a confirmation email...well that email is never sent automatically. I need to manually Magento backend and go through Sales > Orders > Click on Order > Click button Send Email. What I need is from you is to make Magento send automatically the order confirmation email when a successful payment has been received (or when the successful page [login to view URL] has been displayed) More details: Magento version: 1.9.1.0 Ubuntu: 15.04 This problem occurs with only this gateway and not others. I have checked that other payment methods actually works so I know is not a problem of a bad mail setup. Email confirmations are being sent correctly for other payment methods. To reiterate: I'm aware that starting in Magento 1.9.1 cron sends all emails. Cron has been setup correctly and it is working properly.
