I need a remote client to connect to QBE Desktop.
I prefer a PHP solution using Web Connector, but would consider a 3rd party ODBC driver solution (like QODBC) using any type of front-end.
Multiple clients must be able to connect at once.
Special functions must be easy to add-0n into solution later…so must be documented fairly well.
For now we need a simple sales order module to have multiple sales people create sales orders without logging into the main QBE application. Client form should grab customer data, inventory item data etc (fields from a Sales Order) and allow sales person to choose items from drop down lists etc.
Client can be developed against a QBE sample company file, and we’ll change over to our file after app is fully working.
