PHP Customizing & Enhancing (News Script) w/Benefits

This should be an easy job for any PHP skilled developer, as you will not be creating the project, simply modifying the current coding and enhancing it. The site you will be working on is [login to view URL] . Basically a purchased script runs the entire site, and it's desperately in need of changes, security tweaks, and enhancements. We are now receiving 4,000 unique visitors a day (minimum) and it's time to make our site even better! What we would ultimately like to have is a PHP developer that we can call on at any time in the future, that has proven to us he is reliable and thorough, to work on other enhancements on the future. For now all we would like a bid on is the creation of an integrated "News Script" to work with our already created backend admin area. If you complete this project to our liking, you will become the developer we use in all our future projects. We basically need the same kind of system with the following features: -Categories -User Avatars/Images -Mulitple Poster's -Easy system for posting the "Hot & Funny Links" section of each news post. -Script auto-posts latest 3 news posts on the main page and auto-archives the rest of the posts. -Archive page integrated into our portal (for old news). -Smilies/Emoticons...? -Different User levels with permissions (basic - can only post & edit their own posts // admin - can control the entire system) If you want to really impress us these are some features we would like, but aren't exactly crucial to us: -Submit news (visitors can submit their own news and, if approved by a site admin, can have their post displayed on the main page). -Site Plugger (allow visitors to submit their own "Hot & Funny Links" that we will include in our news post to give their site some free exposure). -Search News. Visitors can already search our site for games & Videos, but a seperate search tool for news would be nice. -Recommended Content. Allow a news poster to recommend (include in his post) a few of the newer games/videos we have added to the site. In summary: We would like to have a developer that is capable of completing this task for us, and then based on performance, work with us on other projects in the coming week for even more enhancements and features on our site. You have to be trustworthy enough to work on any other areas of our site, as any customizing you do will require you to have access to our entire site's backend coding. As stated this site is already established, and bringing in pretty good advertising capital, so the opportunities for you to eventually be on a "weekly pay" basis are definitely available.
